At the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016, innovators are looking for amazing scientific ways to face stiff competition, work smarter and live better. The on-going tech show has lifted curtain off some innovative consumer technology products and Intel’s Segway Robot is one of them.
This robot by Intel, which can also be used as a hoverboard, has been built in collaboration with Ninebot and Segway. It has blinking camera eyes and movable arms. You can talk to the robot. And if you are too busy with work and can’t open the door for your guest, this robot will help you out by checking who is at the door.
Intel CEO Brian Krzanich said “Last year, I showed you some advanced but expensive drones that could see and react to their environments.” And this time, Intel took that technology a level up by introducing “you to the Yuneec Typhoon H drone and Segway robot with RealSense,” he added.
Intel will launch the Segway Robot software in the second half of this year.
